Linda Sudevi began her yoga studies  with Jivamukti yoga. Linda´s first teacher training was with Iyengar teacher Lila Schwartz in Ashville, North Carolina. Linda later studied Integral Yoga and was certified to teach by the Satchidananda Ashram at Yogaville where she was graced to receive mantra initiation from her spiritual teacher, Shri Swami Satchidananda, who also gave her the name, "Sudevi." Coming full circle Linda then studied with David Life and Sharon Gannon intensively. Linda was personally trained and certified as a Jivamukti yoga teacher by Tripura Sundari (Sharon Gannon) and Deva Das (David Life). Linda has also been profoundly influenced by the work of Shri Bhramananda Saravati.

Linda Kramer (Lind) received a B.A. in English Literature followed by a M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri where she also studied modern dance at the Conservatory of Music. Linda has taught professionally at the University of Missouri, the University of West Florida, and Pensacola Junior College. She is a free lance writer and is currently writing about being yoga in a changing world.

Sudevi is also an advanced Pranic Healer in the lineage of Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, and an advanced Reiki Practitioner in the lineage of Dr. Usui Shiki Ryoho. Sudevi uses mantra as a healing modality in combination with crystals, and crystal bowl work. As Sudevi´s interests evolved into the healing arts, she changed the name of East Hill Yoga to Blue Lotus Yoga and Center for the Healing Arts to reflect the center´s new offerings.    She has also taken courses with faculty from the Lotus Palm School of Canada, and with Michael Buck of the Vedic Conservatory. Healing sessions with Sudevi are a unique blend of assisted yoga and energy work formulated on an individual basis. Each holy being is treated as a sacred mandala.

Linda along with Kimberly Casson choreographed and performed I am the Soul, for the Spirit of Light Expo. Linda´s poems have most recently been choreographed by LaVonne French at the University of West Florida´s dance celebration of women´s spirituality. Linda continues to work with French, expanding the creative dance of yoga as a spiritual expression for women.

Linda Sudevi frequently returns to ashrams (sacred retreat centers) for spiritual study and continues to draw on the inspirational work of the enlightened masters who have gone before us and is a bhakti at heart. Students often comment on the elevation and lightness of being they feel after her classes. Like her revered teacher Shri Swami Satchidananda she is not Catholic, she is not Hindu, she is an undo. She believes separation is one of the greatest roots of suffering and offers her efforts to sharing the teachings of loving compassion, and leads ceremonies for world peace (Agni Hotra). She offers workshops and travels to share the teachings she has been so blessed to receive.

Sudevi in the long tradition of teachers before her is forever rescuing animals and acting on their behalf.  She is also active in children's television programming - believing that it's never too soon to learn to, "Do good, be good. love all, and serve all."
